Making Earth Day Posters!
Buttercup and Fluffy have a play-date!
Buttercup's brother lives in the classroom next door. His name is Fluffy and they have the same birthday, October 15th, 2012! Buttercup is much smaller than Fluffy. She is black and white. Fluffy has light and dark brown fur. They had a lot of fun playing today and were very excited to see eachother. Buttercup was doing a lot of pop-corning!!

Masterpieces!For Earth Day today we used "Beautiful Stuff" to create wooden sculptures. Two parent volunteers came in to help our class. Everyone got to create their own unique masterpiece. Some kids brought in old scraps from home and we had some already in our classroom. We used materials brought in from "ArtsJunktion"!! A lot of materials we used would have been sent to a landfill. It is amazing what was created today and how each child was engaged! |
